Domain Registration

.ro domain names purchased annually are registered in the client's name starting from 01.03.2018. Annual .ro domains registered before this date were registered in the name of the registrar (YourCompany), but they can be transferred to the client's name in exchange for a transfer fee of 10 Euro. After the transfer, the domain is automatically renewed for another year.

International domain names (.com, .eu, .biz, .net, .co.uk, .uk, etc.) are registered directly in the client's name, and their management is done from the client's account on our website.

.ro domain names can be registered for a maximum period of 10 years.

All .ro domain registrations are subject to the registration rules established by ROTLD and can be read on the Registration Rules and Registration Contract page provided by ROTLD on the rotld.ro website.

Domains registered for the so-called "lifetime" period will pay the annual maintenance fee upon expiration (domains older than 5 years) starting from 01.03.2018.

All annual .ro domains registered through the YourCompany website can be transferred to the client's data starting from 01.03.2018 if the current transfer fee of 10 Euro is paid. A domain can only be transferred during the active period and cannot be transferred if it is expired.

International domain names become active immediately after payment is made and confirmed in our system. For .ro domain names, activation may take between 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the time when the order is processed.

To change the contact details or nameservers for .com / .net / .org / .info domains, please log in to your client account, navigate to your domain menu, and from there, you can change the desired information under the domain details.

To transfer the .com or .ro domain from another registrar to YourCompany before its expiration, you need the following:

- The EPP code (or transfer code from the ROTLD account)
- The domain must be unlocked
- Deactivate the privacy protection feature if it exists to receive the confirmation email

Before proceeding, please note that this process can take between 5 and 10 business days.

Note: .ro domains can only be transferred from one registrar to another through the transfer code obtained from the ROTLD control panel.
